Currently the following qualifications are on offer as Residential Courses:

Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) - A 150-hour course

This course may be taken in two different modalities leading to the same qualification:

1.Residential 4-week intensive

In this modality candidates spend 4 weeks in the country of their choice in order to complete the internationally recognized Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Students on this course take part in workshops where theory and methodology are studied in a practical way. Then they get the chance to practice on real learners of English as well as observe experienced teachers at work. More details below.

2.Combined Distance Learning and Residential Teaching Practice

In this modality candidates complete the theoretical aspects of the course via distance learning and then spend 1 to 2 weeks in the country of their choice doing teaching practice. This involves teaching real learners of English, learning about lesson planning and observing experienced teachers at work. More details below.

Course dates:

1.Residential 4-week intensive

There usually is one course starting every month of the calendar year. This is subject to availability at each of the centers. There is a limited number of places on each course, so you are adviced to book your course early. For more details on availability in the country of your choice please contact us.

2.Combined Distance Learning and Teaching Practice

You may start the distance learning phase as soon as you enrol on the course. For the teaching practice phase you need to inform the course provider of when you would be ready to start and they will be in touch with you with available dates.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is not included in the course price although centers are happy to arrange it for you. There is a range of accommodation options available (from hotel to shared apartments to private rooms in student residences).
