Foundation Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

Course Aims:

This short course is meant to be a good introduction to the world of TESOL /TEFL. This is an ideal course if you want a good grounding in the theory and practice of TESOL / TEFL before you embark on a residential or more in-depth online course or as a starting teaching qualification.

Entry requirements:

Candidates need to be at least 18 years old. No previous teaching experience or qualifications are required. To be accepted on the course candidtes need to be proficient in the understanding and use of the English language. The course is open to both native and non-native English language speakers.

Course length:

The average number of hours course participants tend to employ before completing the course ranges between 40 and 50. This can vary from one individual to the next as no two people learn at the same pace or in the same way. Generally course participants take between one and two weeks to complete the course successfully.
